Things to do and see in Port Antonio
Port Antonio is a haven for water activities and boasts of some of the best deep-sea fishing in Jamaica, with marlin, tuna, kingfish and dolphin in abundance. It also hosts the annual international Marlin Tournament in October.
- San San Beach: The beach consisting of approximately 1½ miles stretch of pure white sand has shallow waters and is perfect for swimming and family picnics.
- Boston Beach: Located approximately 20 minutes east of Port Antonio, the beach's main claim to fame is the spectacular cove where according to the locals, you can still get authentic Jerk.
- Blue Mountain Coffee Plantation: Port Antonio is the perfect starting point for a tour of the world-famous Blue Mountain coffee plantations. See the workings of these plantations and have some beans roasted on-site for you.
- The Blue Lagoon: Also called the “Blue Hole” by residents, the Blue Lagoon is one of the most scenic spots in Jamaica. However it has no bearing with the Blue Lagoon, a film by the same name. The famed oceanographer Jacques Cousteau claims to have dived down to 200 feet and found no bottom.

- San San Golf Club: Located about 5 miles east of Port Antonio, this 9 hole golf course cooled by sea breezes. The fabulous surroundings add to the pleasure of the game.

- San San Tropez: The place has earned a well deserved reputation of serving the best Italian food in Port Antonio. You can enjoy your meals in an indoor dining room or at candlelit tables beside the swimming pool. Menu items include well-prepared homemade pastas, especially linguine "Blue Lagoon" (with shellfish), lasagna, or spaghetti served either with carbonara or bolognese sauce.
Nightlife
- Roof Club: This is easily the most infamous nightclub in Port Antonio. The crowd here is loud and raunchy, crowded, and boozy, with enough secondhand ganja smoke to get virtually anyone high.
